To further accelerate circulation, the convection fins are welded directly into the water channels, not between them, thus ensuring a more direct connection. This improves thermal conductivity, output and response speed
IMAS radiators have a large surface area, so they are able to provide high heat output even at lower temperature settings – greater efficiency and lower heating bills
IMAS radiators have a unique design that includes 25 mm water channels. The reduced dry channel design also creates greater water velocity, accelerating heat transfer and therefore bringing up to 17% more metal into contact with water. This allows the radiators to heat up faster, ensuring a quicker response to changes in thermostat settings. The result is rapid radiator warm-up at lower cost.
The multi-stage and environmentally friendly painting process extends the product’s service life and gives it a stylish appearance:
- hot degreasing and hot zinc-manganese alkaline phosphating
- water-based primer (heated to 130°C)
- epoxy polyester – powder coating (heated to 180°C)

IMAS radiators have smaller water channels and more convection fins, which allows them to heat rooms quickly and keep them reliably at a constant level. In terms of total heat output, IMAS radiators deliver up to 10% more heat, so rooms warm up faster. Studies show that after five minutes the surface temperature of IMAS radiators is up to 10 degrees higher than that of other radiators – the faster radiators heat up, the faster the warming air can begin to circulate. Since this accounts for approximately 75–80% of radiator heat, it is crucial.
