Description
LK 525 MultiZone is a motorized 3-way zone valve for on/off control. The zone valve is designed with a rotary valve, which allows it to withstand a higher pressure differential and reduces the risk of sticking after a long period of inactivity. This makes the valve especially suitable for heat pump applications where there may be long intervals between flow direction changes during warm weather. The actuator housing has an indicator that shows which port is open.
The valve must not be installed with the actuator below the valve.
In the event of a power outage, the valve remains in its current position. When the power is off, the valve can be manually set to the center position, which distributes the flow between the heating and domestic water circuits. Remove the actuator and turn the shaft about 30° or turn until hot water flows through both valve outlets. When power is restored, turn the valve back to the initial position and reinstall the actuator.
