Test kit for measuring chlorine and pH. The test shows the concentration of total chlorine (free + combined chlorine) in the water and is suitable for private use and low-usage swimming pools.

Description

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Rinse the tester in pool water and fill the tester chambers to the corresponding marks with pool water.
  • Add five drops of liquid from the ORTHO TOLIDINE bottle with the yellow cap to the right-hand chamber of the tester.
  • Add five drops of liquid from the PHENOL RED bottle with the red cap to the left-hand chamber of the tester.
  • Close the tester with the caps (yellow to the left, red to the right) and mix the solution evenly by shaking.
  • Let the solution stand for approx. 30 seconds and compare its color with the color chart.
  • Keep the chlorine content in the water between 1.0 … 1.5 and the pH between 7.2 … 7.4.

Check the water in outdoor pools early in the morning and in the afternoon, and in indoor pools regularly and after each use. Do not leave the kit in direct sunlight or heat. Before the start of the season, replace the test reagents with new ones. During testing, hands must be clean, especially free of pool chemicals. Avoid contact of the test reagents with the eyes. Contains hydrochloric acid. FIRST AID: In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse with plenty of water.
