CALPEX PUR-KING is a highly energy-efficient pre-insulated flexible pipe with a patented insulation material thermal conductivity of only λ 0.0199 W/mK.

 

The patented CALPEX PUR-KING DUO with two PEX-a carrier pipes is a flexible, continuous and self-compensating low-temperature piping system:

  • operating temperature: Max. 95°C (fluctuating)
  • working pressure: PN 6
  • dimensions: DUO DN 20–65

Description

The flexible and self-compensating piping system is suitable for use at low temperatures and for local and district heating networks. CALPEX pipe is an insulated underground pipe made of durable materials that are optimally designed for long service life in the ground – the carrier pipe is made of PEXa and has excellent thermal and mechanical properties. The outer casing is made of LDPE-PE[A1]. The insulation material is polyurethane (PUR foam), with a thermal conductivity of only 0.0199 watts per meter and Kelvin, at an average measured temperature of 50°C. The factories are located in Germany and Switzerland.
