The best purification efficiency is ensured by the horizontal design of the biological treatment plant. The horizontal design makes it possible to increase the volume of the working chamber, which means a larger area where the sludge treated by bacteria can be accommodated.
The bacteria develop in the treatment plant from the wastewater entering it within 2-3 months. The working chamber, or reactor, is enriched with air through aerators. The regular inflow of air creates the conditions necessary for the bacteria to live and ensures an efficient process of breaking down wastewater into sludge.
The biological treatment plant is emptied no more than once a year. More information about maintenance can be found in the product maintenance manual.
