Description
Flooré underfloor heating solution is based on thin high-pressure polystyrene (EPS-300) boards, which are fully covered with aluminum foil. This construction makes it possible to install the floor surface material directly onto the boards. Flooré boards transfer heat faster and more efficiently than traditional material-intensive solutions thanks to the aluminum foil covering, the shorter distance between the pipe and the floor surface, and the lower thermal mass.
Flooré board underfloor heating is suitable for installation on most existing surfaces without expensive and time-consuming concrete casting, where the floor also has to dry for a long time before it can be put into use. You can also install a new floor with heating on top of an old floor.
The floor under the underfloor heating must be level, stable, and load-bearing. All floor covering materials are suitable for installation on the underfloor heating board. A wooden, parquet, or laminate floor can be installed as a floating floor. Stone, clinker, or ceramic floor tiles are installed directly on Flooré underfloor heating. The tiles must be at least 15×15 cm. In wet rooms, the Flooré base boards are leveled with filler and covered with a moisture-resistant layer before the floor tiles are installed.
The Flooré underfloor heating board is a patented Swedish product. It is a successful successor to the previous-generation board, which was developed together with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Stockholm) as early as 1991.
